The United States decides: The al-Aqsa Brigades is a terror organization
Following terror acts carried out by the Al-Aqsa
Brigades, including the suicide
bomber in midtown Jerusalem on March 21,
2002, the US administration accepted the Israeli
position that the Al-Aqsa Brigades is a terrorist
organization and placed that group on its black-list
of terror organizations. The Al-Aqsa Brigades
falls directly under the authority of the PA and its
leader Yasser Arafat.
